We can all become a caregiver—sometimes it’s unexpected and unplanned (such as with an injury or fall), or due to a disease onset—for our partner, spouse or parent, while other caregiving might be somewhat anticipated (such as aging parents or chronic disabling age-related conditions.) This new role and its responsibilities can place many additional stresses on the caregiver. This presentation will help us better understand the caregiver’s role and find solutions for the pressures of caregiving as it affects our own outlook and quality of life.
